2013 Defender 110 ACC Fuse Slot & Headliner Removal
Hello from Kenya!

I am installing a Discovery H612T Mirror Mounted Dash Camera. I have come across 4 problems / Questions for which I need assistance:

1) Is there an ACC Fuse Slot in the Fuse Box, and if so, which Fuse Box (Under seat or under dash)? Or, can the "ACC Fuse Slot" be any switched fuse that is powered with starting the car?

2) is there a good way to remove the pins holding up the Headliner, in case I need to run the cable that way to the back?

3) The mirror sags due to the small weight put on the Standard Mirror when I attach the device to the mirror. Is this normal? Also, any recommendations to give the micro more strength when attaching the device, so that the mirror does not sag?

4) Lastly, where can I get this document, "Headliner Rear Trim Panel - 90/110 (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation)?"

Thanks, or Asante Sana in Swahili!

Don’t know about 1-3 but 4 I would say is from the workshop manual, if you search for a electronic workshop manual on here you should get a link you can use Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

Hi,

1) In the above wiring diagrams ACC(essory) is called AUX(iliary). It's the ignition key's first position before ignition is switched on. Blower will work in that position, e.g., so you could tap it's fuse, which is F28 (30 Amps) under the dash. Other AUX-switched fuses are F26 (20A, cigar lighter) and F27 (5A, radio).

2) yes: focus on not damaging the headliner and don't mind about destroying the pins Laughing

2) The headlining pins (known as fir trees) can be easily removed with a trim removal tool like this:

It helps to protect the headlining with a piece of thin ply or hardboard under the heel of the tool to avoid leaving leaving any marks. Darren
