Light switch info

Which of these fits the 300 tdi

You want the first one, i've just changed mine on my Tdi and that's what was on mine.

Does it depend on your connectors? That one recommended has bullet connectors but check your old one as it may have pin connectors as ithe wiring may have been updated at some time. Jeff

The vehicle is not mine and is not here. It is a "J" registered 300 tdi, one of the very last. I know they changed connecting ends but was not sure when. I have a 200 tdi but I was not sure if the 300 tdi usedthe same connecting ends. Thanks. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

If it’s a ‘J’ reg then it would have been a 200 tdi from the factory so it’s obviously been modified, it’s probably best to check the old switch before you order in case there have been any other modifications.

97 - 99 connector manual for TDI 300 show newer type blade connector for switch lighting C041 but as always best check

Thank you. It is my daughter's 90 and she lives away. She will be here next week so Iwas going to get one and change it for her. Seems like the simplest thing to do is to order one of each! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

My duughter's chassis number begins VB67WA.
So does this come under
VIN 6A999999 or
VIN 7A000001 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali
2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu
2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai

VB67(WA) V=90" L/R B = 2 Door station wagon 6= engine type ? 7 = gear box type 5 speed RHD WA= 1998 in Solihull build
