Scotty38, apologies my answer has obviously rattled you.

The question from DeeEss appeared to ask what springs were suggested to go with the shocks he had rather than what were peoples experience of certain springs. i was responding to his question.

No probs and apologies here too. Just didn’t want to go lower and then hear of any experiences that make me think twice Thumbs Up

I decided to fit standard Alive springs rather than lowered as there was some noise about issues with propshaft alignment, more in the link below,

Thanks all appreciated and this above is what I was wondering about a downside and if it was real or not. I can live with a bit less articulation and clearance but anything like this would steer me back to standard height.

After reading the post that spoke about a 2” drop which is a fair bit more than the Alive lowered ones but even so if there’s a chance for this sort of problem I may stick with standard. Now I’m a little more educated I can ask them specifically. Many thanks

If you go with the Alive lowered springs (-1") and then add in the isolators doesn't that bring them pretty much back to the same height as standard ones?

Lowering should be at least an (1 inch) so 25mm and the isolators are what 10mm+ give or take, as above seems a waste of money on springs, although looking at the photos of the lowered ones its far more than an inch given the wheel to arch gap as standard. It looks closer to 50 or 60mm lower.
