Power Loss on TURNING
Have done searches and seems like MANY people have had "power loss" problems for many reasons.........hoping someone can help figure this one out. I'm too far from dealer but have access to tech with computer who works on Fords with programming.

The 110 has sudden power loss in LIMP MODE. Initially had NO MIL or any issues with sensors. On turning off and restarting the problem corrected immediately.........but then occurs again, and again, and almost with increasing frequency.

Had an PCM update and it still happens. But now when it happens it pops off a diesel injector code (P121C-00). The tech checked the injectors and thinks they are fine.

The tech then noticed that the problem starts and is aggravated by LEFT HAND TURNS. Now he thinks there may be a "short" in the loom somewhere!!!

I need help.

Harness WAS bad (broken)..............near the glowplug connection..........rubbing on injector.

Primary symptom was going into "limp mode" without warning or MIL and resetting with key.

Trying to order a new one LR 025175 (replaces LR 014566 which replaces LR 007352)

Anyone know if there are differences in these harnesses???

Reviving a very old thread...!
Did you change the harness, and did it solve the problem?

I am having a similar intermittent power loss, and getting the same DTC code... Annoyingly difficult to diagnose. EGR and battery change seemed to have fixed the problem, till it re-surfaced today Banging Head

Yes. Had to replace the whole engine harness.

It seems there was a likely short/fault in the wiring/connector. It was too difficult to trace.

Replacing the harness solved the problem.
