Safari Snorkel
I'm trying to fit a second hand Safari Snorkel to the TD5 and need a template for the 3 screw holes required in the wing. Also, i believe there is some type of foam gasket/seal that goes between the snorkel and the wing. Does anyone have an idea where i could purchase these or will sealant be good enough in place of the foam? is there a .pdf of the template anywhere? Havce done a search but not coming up with much. Thanks

Does it not use the same holes as the side intake? And yes there is supposed to be a thin foam gasket around the intake. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

You can buy a sheet of adhesive back neoprene off of eBay and make your own. They are available in many different thicknesses.

Thanks for the reply, any idea what thickness would be best? What do the Safari company use?

My current roll is 3mm thick.

Surprisingly useful stuff to have in the garage…

I wouldn't fit a safari one, I removed mine from my TD5 as it kept filling up with water as the neoprene seal failed.

I just bond snork to wing with tiger seal. It won’t fail, and the neoprene traps all the crap and trashes your paint anyway. At least I know mine is sealed.
