LR Remote App - send destination
Hello, just traded in our Discovery 4 for 2020 D240 Defender 110. Love it so far - although the difference between the 3.0 TDV6 on the Discovery and the D240 is taking a bit of getting used to.

When we first got the car the other day, I was able to send a destination from the Land Rover Remote app to the car, and it all worked perfectly. Then yesterday the app said I didn't have a car - next it said my password was wrong (I use a password manager, so couldn't have typed it in wrong).

Eventually, it let me in and recognised our Defender. But now I can't find where to send a destination to the car. Starting to believe I imagined it! Have tried deleting the app and re-installing it.

I wondered if anyone else had experienced this and had any clues on how to get it working again?

Last week there was an app update for the Mk 2 IOS app and it allowed exporting of routes to the car. There was an extra tab on the bottom of the app home page for it. I still cannot activate my account in the Mk2 app and am using the old Mk1, still tells me in the Mk2 app that my in control account doesn’t exist yet both the car’s log in and the Mk1 app log in still work!

To be honest I never use the app other than to use service/transport mode. My 90 connected with the new app no problem but it’s of limited appeal to me. At the moment my one has problems with its embedded sim so that will need to get looked at at some point. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

About all I use the app for at this time of year is to check the Adblu level as it’s easier to do it that way than through the frustration of using the access through PiviPro and to check that I’ve locked it and closed the sunroof in the evening after a sunny day! Thanks Tim, at least I know I wasn't imagining it!

I only downloaded the app on Thursday, so must have got the Mk2 app straight away.

It worked at first, but not now - and I think when it worked was before I installed an update on the Defender over the weekend.

I never reliably got the old route planner app working on the Discovery we had before either.

Will keep looking in to it and post on here if I find a solution!

My car (an early build D240) downloaded an OTA update last week too and I noticed the blue spot in the top right of the PiviPro screen again this afternoon so is now dosing another update. Hopefully this one will give me back my Auto Stop/Start system ……….. that stopped working after the last week update which was 2.01.10e Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Probably because it left the factory with more up to date software than those already delivered, you’ll have to wait for the rest of us to catch up!

Mine was saying it was 95% through downloading an update last night. This morning, the connectivity has gone. Seem to be stuck at 'Reading SIM'. Have tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

Yes something odd going on. I had the downloaded update last week, and all went well with the car. I also got a new version of the App, and it gained an ‘Explore’ tab that allowed me to send navigation destinations to the car. This has disappeared today.

Also noted that the option to send app feedback within the app doesn’t work. If you send an error report, it bounces back as unauthorised.

Software department need a rocket up its jacksy! Looks like they’re firefighting issues and causing more at the moment. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Checked my app yesterday and it was there briefly then disappeared.

Pivi pro looks great, slick to use but it’s suffering with LRs poor software other than that my 90 is spot on. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue
