Seats
Looking to upgrade my seats in my Defender 90 Td5 - 1999, from the old worn original....anything is an upgrade...
But I have a hard time to judge the various alternatives, seems like Exmoore have the most alternatives, standard, modular and Sport. As stated all will be a significant upgrade but the question is what give most value for the money?
They all dig deep holes in your bank account some more than the other......what is worth spending? Big Cry
I been looking at a few other options but not found anything that match these options.

Like the options that give easy access to the battery etc.
Any experience on the various Exmoor alternatives?
Any other seats worth evaluating before deciding?

If you have a nice picture to share of your seats please do so! Bow down

Hi HenrikSw

I've got a 1996 300Tdi and still had the original seats when i got her, after a bit of time like you it was time to upgrade

originals

then i had a chance to purchase these, they are the XS half leather heated seats

I am well pleased with the decision i made as you can see in this pic that how much higher they sit from the standard middle seat and i have always fitted the Exmoor trim seat covers to protect them for the future

This was my personal choice for my use Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

Looks nice, good choice!

You see all these super fancy interiors on Instagram but most (if not all) of these interiors cost more than my car!!

Nice to see some "normal" upgrades Thumbs Up

or consider the XS 'premium' seats

can often be found as good condition "take outs" when people upgrade to Recaro's, Exmoor, etc. and find them very good

Looking very good! Thanks!
Unfortunately the number of used XS seats in Sweden are very limited.......and buying unseen from abroad is a gamble.

Scheelman do Defender seats, have pre-loved ones in mine. They are very comfotable and there may be more used ones nearer you.

I'll have a set of XS front heated half leather seats for sale in the next 2 weeks.
Will be without runners. Good condition from a 2014 XS.

I have a pair of the Exmoor modulars. They are superb seats and have totally transformed the ride of my Td5, it is now actually pleasant to do long journeys in.

Exmoor trim sometimes auction pairs of brand new seats on eBay. I got mine for a very good price; after selling the originals it only cost me £300+ to upgrade to full leather, heated, comfortable seats.

Good luck.
