Fuel tank replacement?
Im having my 20 year old td5 rebuilt, is it worth changing the plastic fuel tank while I'm at it? or do they last for everish?

I haven't heard of any particular problems with them so for everish is probably right, so far. Darren

I've not got any experience of the LandRover plastic tanks, but having restored other cars with plastic ones, I'd be perfectly happy with disassembly and a good visual check. If nothing is amiss, then (as above) clean it up and reuse. I'd be replacing any hoses as a matter of course.
