Dear Retailers,

The global semiconductor shortage continues to disrupt our production schedules, resulting in extended lead times on a number of Jaguar and Land Rover models.

In order to support you in managing customer expectations for forward orders, we have reviewed our medium-term production plans versus expected semiconductor availability and can confirm that for a number of models detailed below, the lead time for new customer orders placed from today will be in excess of twelve months. Please also find attached updated Jaguar and Land Rover Order Matrices which informs you in detail which vehicles are available and through which sales channel.

The email was dated on 6 8 2021. So unless you ordered before the weekend these models are a non starter really 110 D250 SE HT

Any chance you could post a copy please? Just wondering if it's new orders after a certain date or whether existing orders with build slots are likely to be pushed in favour of the higher spec versions? They don't get much lower spec than a 90HT (albeit with a few options added). Thanks.

Higher spec vehicles are already being given priority over the lower models,
I’ve had recent discussions with ljr and at first they denied it but later after I had proved them wrong apologised but then said there would be no further comment on the subject.

Jlr customer service and the way they treat customers awaiting delivery of vehicles is shocking to be honest.

Thanks. Very interesting. If my order arrives on time I could be quids in…. If it gets pushed then I won’t be in a rush to order again.

Had two dealer updates in last couple of weeks saying build at beginning of October so keeping my fingers crossed. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Exciting news.. my order has been delivered to the dealership and I’m due to take delivery on the 1st of Sept, 2 days earlier than on the contract. Seems some are still being built! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Not sure that's correct. Our P400 XS still has no ETA. It was rumoured Oct but I assume that was on the analoge dash. Since that was declined ..... who knows.

At least you were given the option to wait for the digital dash,
My options were take the analogue dash or cancel order. L663 90ht

I missed out the word "indefinable" in front of wait.

However you are correct that I did have the option to "wait". It appears its no longer an option (or was it standard) in the 90HT (but you can still have it in the 110HT on the high spec models).

I’m just chatting to dealers about replacing my current d5 with another, trade in price is bonkers making it a no cost to swap (using some man maths of course) . Currently have a 3.0 hse with all the extras and just 14k on the clock. I’m told I should be ok for March delivery of a same spec as long as I go for a d300, anything else and it could be a year which seems to be the derivative not listed in that email. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE
