Dual battery size/fitting advice

Hi guys,

I'm after some advice in fitting second leisure battery in a puma.

Cupboard says you can fit 2x 019 batteries in and I'm sure I read somewhere you need to rotate them or something? (however I can't find that thread any more)

I bought a second battery, a bosch leisure battery. The garage I took it to, said it wouldn't fit in a puma seat box due to the angled/sloped section.

Is the only way to fit them to remove existing tray and make a new one?

Any help and pics/links appreciated

2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black

I have 2 batteries, the standard starter battery, plus an AGM leisure battery the same size. They fit side by side in the normal orientation, but the starter battery needs to be moved a bit further forwards and most importantly moved towards the door side (left), such that it slides under the lip of the seat box opening. I had to make a battery tray to hold it all in place, but it was pretty simple snd used the original mounting holes.

I’m sure I posted a thread on here about it, but it would have been 3 years ago or so. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
