130 Spotted on M40
Spotted a camo covered new 130 on the M40 yesterday, literally a 110 with a longer rear overhang. The sides were covered over. Anyone else seen it? 2011 110 USW

LC300 series being unveiled this week, would be a good week for LR to "leak" some images of the competition!!!

Think it’s close to 30cm longer than the Disco with that spare on the back. Would love the extra space but not sure it’d fit in the shed.

was hoping they might sling the spare underneath like the disco utilising the extra space the overhang creates. To me would be logical approach to reducing that overall length. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

With the spare on the back it's going to be enormous - around 5.3m. A standard parking bay is only 4.8m long! Darren

That’d make a lot of sense - possible they’ve just grabbed an existing door to keep us guessing.

with the weight of the spare further out from the rear wheels it could impact handling on corners in poor conditions. ideally you want it low and as close to the rear wheels as possible?

Hoping kernow is right and they have raided the parts bin for the mule. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

having previously owned a 5.3m long vehicle (in the form of an Isuzu DMAX Doublecab) I can confirm that car parking bay lengths are a bit of an issue un the UK - basically it just won't fit!

That is frigging horrible. Have LR and GMcG not learnt from the D5 how unpopular weird overhangs are? If that’s anything like the real thing when launched, it is simply a bolt-on-bum. No effort to make it look right. Mind you it’s probably targeted at the American market to compete against the Escalade etc, which are equally disproportionate and revolting. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Does anybody else think it would have been less obvious without the camouflage? Darren

There are already two options with very short overhang to satisfy customers that prefer that. See no harm in LR adding a longer version for customers who need the extra space. The alternative to increase the wheelbase instead comes with other compromises. 110 SE D200 MY21 Tasman blue
