Puma piston cooling jets and fuel pump torque values please.
Can someone please help.. I am rebuilding my Puma 2.4 and the useless manual doesnt even mention removal of or fitting the PCJ's and hence has no torque value for them. Can anyone please advise?

There is also no mention of the large nut holding the hub onto the fuel pump, so no torque there either.

I realise the manual is freely available online, but it is pretty useless. no bearing clearance specs, bits completely missing and all over the place in running order.

Grrr Nige

I can’t help off the top of my head. But I have the 2012 onwards manual and that does show the piston cooling jet assembly. Can’t see it being any different so would probably be worth downloading that to fill in any gaps.

The other way to look at it would be what size are the bolts and what grade are they. You could then use a standard torque value for those bolts. Like this: https://www.fastenermart.com/files/metric_tighten_torques.pdf

I have actually just finished making a video and said exactly that @Co1. Torque is just under 12Nm as the bolts are 8.8. Nige
