Noticed splatters on my front mud flap and found fluid leaking from the swivel area. Any suggestions to what might be going on down there would be much appreciated. Have a few journeys coming up, should I be re thinking?

Thanks. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

The amount of oil leaking there you can safely say that the swivel seals are shot. Not a hard job, just time consuming and a bit messy. Or you can cheat and cut the seal and fit. Plenty of info on this, do a search and decide which way to do it. Thumbs Up

If you put the steering on full lock both ways a check the swivel balls and they are all smooth, no rough part, rust, and no groves then just fit new seals and relubricate swivels. If the swivel balls are damaged then they or it will need to be swapped.

Did mine earlier today.

Thanks guys, pretty much as I was thinking, but always worth asking on here.

Thanks again. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.
