Singapore 2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 HT Indus Silver
Swing Away Wheel Carriers.
Hi all,
I have a D110 Puma Stationwagon, and I am after a swing away wheel carrier that doesn't touch the rear door AT ALL. I understand that the UK has laws regarding that the rear door must be able to be opened by the rear passengers, i do not have that law here in asia. Just to share that our offroad trails has many steep inclines and etc, hence a normal wheel carrier that has contact to the rear door won't be really good as i have dented my rear doors when the rear wheel hit the ground. Haha..

The only one i found suitable is the Allisport Wheel carrier but unfortunately, they do not make that anymore.

ORE has a variant, that might seem suitable. and they have a video of it being mounted on a d90 stationwagon, if this works on a d90 stationwagon, technically it will fit a d110 stationwagon? Has anyone have these mounted on their rig? Would be most interested to have a look at it in action.

Thanks in advance

You have two fitment options. The first is one that locks to the crossmember and the second which attaches to an antilucy as fitted to tailgate equipped Defenders.

Manufacturers include Safari Equip, Nakatanenga, Kaymar, Masai...

There are probably more but those are the ones I know of.
