oil on map sensor
evening people.

like a Censored i left my breather pipe from the crank case to turbo pipe disconnected whilst fitting a new turbo actuator. i drove around 15miles and parked at supermarket........ on waiting for the misses i lifted the bonnet ...dont know why, but the whole engine / bonnet was covered in oil .....managed to get some in supermarket as nearly empty

any way on changing the MAP sensor i noticed it covered in oil (internally) and smokey engine.......should i be worried or just let it burn off. or do i need to remove intercooler pipes etc etc and manually clean these ?

i dont understand why so much oil in air pipework ....could this be problem 1000 for the tdci ......wheres my 200tdi i miss it Big Cry series 2a 1966

I don't think anything will burn off. You'll need to clean it or, at worst, replace it and see if that makes a difference. Darren

As above, clean it for now then look to replace it. They aren’t all the expensive. If you use the search function on here you’ll find more info. (Especially for a 2.4). Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
