Will not turn over
Hi all,

I have a poverty spec truck 2007 90 - it has been converted to soft sot

Just spent the afternoon taking the interior light loom down below the dash and wiring in the interior light. This required instrument binnacle to be moved (not disconnected) and generally bits of plastic,

I did route the wire around the fuse box - but didn’t take anything out.

Light works great - but now the car does not turnover at all!

Any ideas - or even a process to check.

All I have done thus far is check a couple of obvious fuses a d disconnect the light in case bizarrely that was part of the issue.

Cheers

Rob

😀 good thought - but never disconnected it.

All lights work - dash lights up like normal, indicators work - cannot find anything that doesn’t work - apart from not turning over 😀

By ‘poverty spec’ you mean you have no immobilizer/ 10AS, right?

Possible you knocked one of the wires off the ignition switch? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

There is an after market immobiliser - not sure what 10AS is?

I guess it is possible to have knocked a wire off the ignition- I’ll see if there is a unique wire for starting and does that have a separate connector there

Cheers

Dinu- thank you - I had knocked the wire off the switch!

I was looking for a clever thing related to immobiliser....
