Camp stove
Hi does any one know what the wood stoves I see at the LRO show are called, I see quite a few being used in the camping area they had a 5 foot chimney sticking out of the top

Thanks

I appear to have become a stove collector.

Have an Ozpig and is pretty good, doesn't give too much heat off though. Also have the tentipi pictured above, we use it with the safir tent too and you can make it glow orange if wanted.

The frontier stove is another popular contender but couldn't comment on them as have never used one.

Why?

To heat or cook on?

I've built myself a rocket stove to cook on: small and cheap.

What we generally do when wild camping is build a fire, put some logs on the side with a grill over it and shovel coal out of the fire for under the grill.
The rocket stove is to do veggies on or the midday hotdogs. I even made a pudding for 10 people on it.
I put a metal plate on top so as not to have my cooking gear all black. It also double as a pizza plate (not to put directly into the fire, but next to it).

That Ozpig looks a little like the Robens Volcano tent stove

Tent Stove which is a little cheaper too.
