London insurance

  I've seen a few of you, like me, have their defenders in its natural habitat of Central London. Who are you insuring with? I'm getting more and more responses of "sorry Sir, we won't insure that car in London".
  
  Anyone got any recommendations?

  Near London, and find Adrian Flux will insure pretty much anything. Do haggle with their price though 👍🏻

  20 years ago but I insured a late Series III and then a new 300tdi 90
  both parked on the streets of Southwark near Borough Market
  (with no issues for 10 years ) through LV

  I’m on London border and “specialist” insurers tend to decline because it won’t fit in my garage and on account of age.

  Not all specialist insurers work directly with clients - many, if not most, are only accessible for quotes via a broker. Worth looking into as we have some insurers who can cover ungaraged depending on the postcode

  I insure via a specialist broker and have never had any issues.

  Can you kindly share who your broker is please? A-Plan have dropped my insurance (their decision fully and not based on any claims etc) and desperately looking for a new insurer for my modified 90.
