Canada 2000 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Epsom Green
If you clean it up super good and the area is free of crud, go to your local crappy tire and get tube of the “right stuff” (permatex amazing sealant) and seal it up with that. Great product but make sure to let it day overnight. I did one like this that lasted years. What can make it last long is to cut a small contoured piece of sheet metal to fit over the end and glue it in place. It is possible to stop the leak this way but the real fix is usually remove the t-case and a new seal. Hateful job lying on your back but easily doable.

It all depends how bad the leak is.
Sealing from the outside works but it is not that easy. The shaft moves a little so the sealant will break loose, i made a small plate ans sealed that to the housing. That works good after multiple attempts.

Use plenty off sealant so the plate seals to the transferbox housing and the gearbox housing. Roel

This is exactly what my transmission guy is going to do (permatex right stuff) i should be good then !

For the rest, i’m waiting for the parts to come over from roversnorth
