Side protection
Ok I’ve seen a picture a long time ago of a defender with side protection and it returns around to the rear like this in my picture

They were originally made for challenge scene at the time traybacks were starting to evolve. As traybacks gained 8n popularity you didn't see the tub rails/sliders quite as much. Some also join into door sliders, and some go around the back towards rear door as you say.

Mine came from xeng but they only supplied them fir a limited time.

So like this but going around the rear towards the door

its only 75mm x 50mm ali section, could always get a local fabricator to tig some up? Cheers
