Electrical/heater 12v acc socket issue
I was just driving home in the td5 had my phone charger in on the acc socket,
Turned the heater fan on and when it was on full speed 3 the 12v socket went off.
Put it on speed 2 and the 12v socket came on, but no fan at all?

Anybody had this before?
All other electrics are fine, horn, lights, wipers, radio, all good.
Any help please?

Good point and exactly what you said Laughing

Thanks DorsetSmith, i do suspect it may be an earthing issue, though I didn’t know whether a resistor issue may be a factor!

Sounds like your ignition switch may be on its way out
