Europe knock knock... Are you there?
It's not difficult at all to predict that the European Union as we know it will no longer exist after several years. UK made a good start maybe Italy will follow. The reasons? Many !

But who would ever believe that the Greek and Cypriot sea borders being the external European Union sea borders would be under attack by an insane Turkish dictator these last days and nobody (except France) actually does something to stop him.

There is a real active naval war as you read this message now in southeastern Mediterranean sea. We will not let them into our home without fighting even if we are alone.

"Thank you" Europe and goodnight. The last one please close the door.

A very big REAL thank you to our REAL long standing friends from France. Merci for your help and we will not forget.

This is why I posted in the off topic section.

I guess you thought the same when you started a topic about the Beirut explosion.

Nothing to do with defenders but well worth discussing.

It’s been ongoing for several years and the U.K. has had warships patrolling out there for a while - while we were transmitting the eastern Med on container ships we had to report all our movements to the EU force whenever we arrived/ sailed from ports in the Eastern Medi Basin and Turkey has a special reporting area like Israel has where any maritime traffic has to report 24 hours before entering any national waters. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I'm not having this turn in a another political bickering thread - we've had enough of that across the forums over the past 4 years.

I won't hesitate to lock the thread if it goes down that route...  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Why not create a "Flame Pit" where such comments can be tipped ?

Me neither Ray. The OP has prompted me to read up and become better informed on the history and current affairs in the eastern Med. I appreciate his post, which by the way, no one forced me to read.

Fair comment, though I wasn’t having a blatant ‘pop’ at any particular country......
I was just sharing news of a serious disaster.

Don't worry my friend you will not lose your money. We pay them back every day. Or you didn't know that it was not given for free?
Only the Marshall plan was given for free to Germany.

We never forget our debts. It's part of our culture.

It would be nice though, to remind your government to pay 279 billions for the WW2 reparations to Greece.
