As you want to retain the centre seat then my Ashcroft console won't be of any use.
I can only imagine that the shifter will have to be quite a long way forward and / or offset and will hamper leg room, even for a little one. ![]() Click image to enlarge ONE LIFE, GET IT! |

I have seen them next go the handbrake lever in order to maintain middle seat. I had mine in an Ashcroft console. Cheers

Mine too is in the Ashcroft console. A friend has put one into a TD5 with compushift without one. It is all very sharp corners and space is needed under the changer for connections. I will see if I can get a picture from him. 1995 Defender 110 CSW
