My neighbour bought a Vauxhall Viva new. It rusted before his eyes, spreading like a rash. An awful car, may it rust in peace.

That's a fair point about rust, it cant be one as it would surely have disappeared into a pile of dust by now. We had some HA vans at work back in the day, I had to drive them from time to time. Hateful things. At that time (mid 1980's) we still had a Mk1 Escort Van. Now that was a hoot. Turned it down at £95 at the time Big Cry 2010 XS USW

That looks suspiciously like the near side rear wing of a Hillman Super Minx saloon as it has a pronounced return on the panel above the trim line.

VVS210 yeah i did say it could be a Hillman, there is a piece of wood on the bottom part of the arch which would throw off shape. Its practically the same colour as the car.

Edit i save the image to my PC, so i can zoom in more, and i thinks an Hilman Super minx estate. you can make out windows Thumbs Up

If it was an estate I think that the fuel filler cap would be visible as it sits on top of the wing and there's nothing there hence why my suggesting it's a saloon.

OP needs to take the dog for a walk a bit later one evening Whistle

Hello

The house is an end of terrace 'cottage' and its obviously not loved.... All the others are nicely kept and this one is very 'old' and unloved.

I cannot get any closer as its sat back from the road and would mean going through the owners front gate Shocked at the and round the back offers no better view in fact worse.

When I continue to go that way if I do see the owner I will simply ask them Smile then hopefully we know.

Its a shame when houses go like that, i would have snapped that place up if it was near to me. A cheap little gaff, then upgrade it all. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
