Defender hazard lights constantly Running...
So it goes like this.. out climbing an ugly bank out of the Waipara river and giving it the beans and the stereo fell out of the dash. At this point the hazard lights came on and stayed on. I got back to camp and pulled.the hazard light switch out the hazard and indicator fuse out and no change pulled the flasher unit. No change. Disconnected the battery and gave it 10 min then reconnected it, it pulsed the door locks and kept flashing. Took the drivers seat and pulled the central locking fuse out and it turned them off. A we bit of moisture but nothing obscene in the compartment and all components were dry. Left the fuse out and headed home late that afternoon put the fuse in at home and no central locking and all indicators still flashing.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Go behind the dash and have a look at the 10AS unit. Possibly messed with the plug?? Is sounds like the alarm is active? Try resetting the immobilizer with the fob first.

So the 10as unit is the wee green box tucked right in behind the dash? The remote fob seems to do nothing and yes that's with the fuse in I will unplug it tonight and have a play.

Reset the rollover inertia switch?

In the event of an accident it'll open the door locks and set the hazards off. If anything it's worth a look. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

So it was missing a screw in the 10as unit ... so I unplugged it re secured it and plugged it back in and all sorted. It took a while to recognise the key again.
