Good to see that LR build quality is something of the heritage that still remains!

Odd that JLR/DfT will issue a recall for seat bolts yet DiscoSport and Evoque are suffering from collapsing steering motors due to bolt failures and nothing happens, potentially having a much worse consequence to other roads users as well as the car occupants. Double standards? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I have no idea how these recalls are instigated, or indeed by whom ~ would be interested to know more if anyone knows any online reference material?

Does that scene from Fight Club count where Ed Norton is describing his job as an accident assessor and where costs to the company is cheaper than paying out lawsuits.

Thumbs Up
