Clutch replacement
Hi Chaps,

Looking for some advice please.

About to change the clutch, pressure plate and bearing for an LOF clutch kit on my 2.4 tdci.

Is there anything else that should be changed while the box is out ? I have been told to change the concentric slave cylinder unit. Are the flywheels prone to problems ?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Well, this depends if the transfer box is removed separately. If so, then you're right.

You should change at least the Clutch, the slave cylinder and while changing the slave cylinder you maybe need to change it's connectors as there was a change by the supplier and the old slave cylinder isn't longer produced. Flywheel isn't a problem with this engine as long there was no spring from the clutch was fallen between the flywheel and the clutch.

Regards,
Max

Remove the t-box separately in order to check the shaft coupling, it's madness not to on a Puma.
