TD5 110 Rear Prop Length
After my rebuild on new chassis the rear prop looks to be running over extended on daily use, and the gearbox/transfer box look to be sitting a bit too far forward.

Can someone with a standard 110 Td5 with Salisbury rear axle measure the length of their rear prop when sitting on level ground please.

Thank you

Nigel.

I havn't got the length of the props, but when I swapped from a Salisbury to a 110/wolf/P38 type, the difference was about 8cm longer (longer on the P38 type axle)

Thanks for reply and pictures Jim .... but its the actual fixed running length i'm after, from rear diff flange to rear flange on the transfer box, as I suspect my chassis mounts are out and the prop is now running over extended, if you get me.

Not gonna go under my 110 today snow melting off it right now in the garage. I have a new on eon the shelf and measured it fully compressed 45 1/4 inches.

Hope that helps. Good luck. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)
