Range Rover Sport Seats from a 2017 model, got them off ebay for about £100 + £100 or so in steel and other materials. Cheap compared to what else is available!

Also built a big storage drawer in and a vent for the derv heater. Rear veiw is a bit diminished now but can drop the middle seat for a better view. Instagram @defender_ventures

Leg room is good, better than 60/40 bench seats anyway. Angle is decent, not uncomfortable but not mega comfy either. Id say similar if not the same as TDCi seats. That said doing this kind of mod you can set your own angle. I just wiggled around until I found a happy middle. Marked them and welded them in position. Instagram @defender_ventures

I've got L322 seats (they're better than sport seats right Whistle?!) in mine and have taken a fair few people in them now. General consensus (they've been in all manner of LRs over the years) is much much comfier despite little headroom. However in my defence until I proved they would fit (they're technically wide than the inside of the vehicle) I didn't want to chop into the wheel arches.

Now I've fitted them and proven the system works I'm more inclined to chop into the wheel arches and drop them down an inch or two which will make them quite a bit more comfortable. Ed

The frame was designed so that there's no uprights in the middle of the box which means that I can put long items in under the seats. Not sure they'd fit into a double cab as you can see by mine they go half way through the "rear windows". One of the reasons behind finally converting to a utility wagon top (had the Series panels sat around for ages). The L322 seats normally latch into brackets on the wheel arches so you need to fabricate something for those. Similarly there are latches in the floor which trigger the seat belts to be released so those need to be fabricated.

I've also got a chopped off loom off a BMW M5 on the way which should mean I can get easy access to the other pins on the front seats so I can build up a PWM controller for the heated seats. Have had the motors working for ages. I might once I get another vehicle on the road, so this isn't my only one, build a custom seat box to drop the front of the front seats down a little bit and reinstate the motor on those which I removed to make them a bit more comfortable. Ed

Forgot to apologise - dogs and I were at a shoot today so Land Rover is a little muddier than normal. Actually who am I kidding, it's always like that! Rolling with laughter

Bonus of leather means easy to wipe down. Ed
