I used to make a little money spraying and flogging SAAB plastic grills. Very fiddly masking it all off compared to the LR grill. I would clean it up with brake cleaner as it doesn't leave a residue as opposed to spirits, meths etc then simply sprayed them with an aerosol Thumbs Up Trick is to not get to close with the can when you spray and don't spray it too thick otherwise it will crack/ripple Thumbs Up

It would be cheaper to buy silver ones.

Ive read that one of the Ford grey colours sold as aerosols in halfords, is almost identical to LR Brunel grey.

Yup I painted mine. As mentioned above it's all in the preparation, good advice already given.

Way cheaper than buying LR painted replacements!

FWIW. Land Rover only sells the silver grille and headlamps surrounds as a full set. Sit down for the price. £515.00

yeah thats right - and when they come over the Irish Sea to a LR dealer here they then become € 900 ! I've still got a lump on my head from falling over backwards when I asked the dealer 'can I have a Brunel grille on mine please ?'

So I've decided black is the new Brunel and from pics I've seen in Pistonheads it goes well with Stornoway/Orkney anyway.
