Both produce 307lb ft, with a claimed 0-62mph time of under eight seconds and WLTP range of around 280 and 370 miles respectively.

The twin-motor all-wheel-drive version is offered with a 75kWh battery and 254bhp, or 99kWh and 332bhp. Both versions provide 429lb ft and a sub-seven-second 0-62mph time, with estimated ranges of 260 and 335 miles. Charging is available through an AC home charger or via DC fast chargers at up to 150kW.

Not completely sold on the looks, but function over form from an aerodynamic perspective and I sort of like that, makes it honest. £40k price point is good, as is range. Bold move!

I'm not sure if my 110 can do 370 miles on a tank. WARNING.

Looks like a pumped up Mondeo.
I've had it with manufacturers trying to capture their past success by using a name from a great model on their new, boring non internal combustion engine stuff.
My brand definitions
Jaguar - Gentleman's saloon with I6 around 4.0l.
Range Rover - Go anywhere 4x4 with American 3.5 litre V8.
Land Rover - Basic farmers friend, copied from Jeep. 2.25 petrol I4.
Ford - Simple rep-mobiles graded L, XL, Ghia etc to establish rank of driver.
Jeep - simple basic 4X4 featured in wars from WW11 to Vietnam and beyond.
FORD MUSTANG - Epic American V8 powered monster - great straight line speed -not so good in the twisties.
Rant over. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Is it a legal requirement that all EV cars have to be ugly/weird? Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Maybe not, but it would take you a few minutes to fill it up again......versus however long it takes to re-charge to get another 370 miles of range from the electric.

Be interesting to see the impact on Tesla...... The mighty traditional manufacturers should be able to deliver a better product faster and cheaper than them. I think Telsa's sales will drop significantly.

There will be a diluting of the market for sure, but Tesla have such a massive head start & technical expertise in BEVs & the charging infrastructure that its the trad manufacturers that are on the back foot.
Even the new Porsche gets microscopically compared to the Tesla, and doesn't come out a clear winner, just an interesting alternative.
Agree others will produce faster & cheaper in time, but I think an analogy may be that of Apple & iPhone - yes, market share shrinks as others produce similar faster & cheaper, but Apple still selling strong even though they don't really have an edge anymore.
Competition is good, and as much as I'm not a fan of Mr Musk, it's Tesla that has forced the trads to move forward (just like the iPhone did).

Looks a bit like Ford is jumping on the X6, X4 and Merc GLC coupe format too - jacked up saloon car style won’t help handling of what is supposed to be a sports car. Ford has done a Land Rover Defender redesign on a once iconic model by the look of it....... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!
