Saggy bottom!
I've noticed that my Puma is sitting down at the rear slightly. Probably as a result of what I've fitted in the back!

I'd rather not fit HD springs and end up with a harsh ride. Have looked at the possibility of getting a 1" pair of raised rear springs to compensate but not sure of this option!

What do folks recommend as a possible way forward? Anyone been here before and implemented a solution they're happy with?

Mine's had HD suspension from new, and from what I've seen when parking it next to other Defenders, it makes no difference to the ride height at all. I don't think it makes the ride quality harsh either, I actually think it's a bit of an improvement on the standard.

I think you're going to have to go down the 'longer spring route'.

all the std 90 xs have heavy duty rear springs (well mine did)

Great to put loads on...but makes the ride harsh (for back seat passengers!!) Mike

Hi Tosher

Also worth a look are the spacers that Gwyn Lewis has. Available as 1 - 1.5 or 2 inch.

I fitted the 1 inch all round on my 90. They replace the standard spring seats on top of the axle ( and dont cost too much)

Hope that helps

Mark
