Britpart One Piece Rear Drive Shafts
The time has come to replace the rear drive shafts on my 2005 TD5 90 Defender.
I have been looking at all the options and due to the reasonable price I am considering the Britpart one piece shafts, does anybody have any experience of them are they good quality and do they last? 2016 Defender Landmark 90

I fitted standard Britpart drive shafts and drive members, it only cost just over £100 for 4 drive members and two rear drive shafts.
They’ve now done over 40,000 mainly road miles and are still fine, no play.
It might be a different story with heavy off road use, but for day to day driving they have been fine.

Land Rover wanted over £400 for one drive shaft !!

If, like me, you're not using it for anything heavy, I've fitted used Disco 1 one piece shafts to the rear of my 2014 110. Forty quid or less a pair, delivered, from eBay and they seem to work a treat.

I used disco ones for a long while but they didn't last while off-roading with lockers. They are cheap second hand so I didn't bother too much. However now with 35"simexes I invested in Aschroft HD shafts and CV joints. They cost an arm and a leg and some more bit they are strong. Very Happy Roel

I’ve had the Britpart ones in for a while now and I’m perfectly happy with them .
They come unpainted (the end obviously!) so you may want to budget for some cans of spray as well ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

The one piece drive shafts seem a really good idea.

Is there a reason why Land Rover would fit separate drive shafts and drive members?
