I have previously had the uprated ARB installed on a 110 and it is even more effective than on a 90.
In my experience a standard factory 110 does tend to wallow more than a standard factory 90 probably because of the increased weight. 2016 Defender Landmark 90

Thank you, but bother it, my wallet was hoping it wasn't worth doing...!

I'd better change a few more tap washers.

This forum can be very bad for the wallet.

One thing I have no ticked is that the rebound on the fox is quite harsh on the rear compared to the front. At first I though something was loose as there is a bit of a knock when direction on the shock is reversed, most noticeably dropping into a hole then coming out, rather than hitting a bump. I’ve checked and double checked every thing and can’t find anything loose and it wasn’t doing it before the damper install. Any thoughts or is this normal?

I think you need to investigate further there is not any knock from mine, are you able to establish which side it comes from?
Could you have a defective shock? 2016 Defender Landmark 90

Comes from both sides on change of direction of the shock stroke. I have a speed bump at the end of the road that I can hit with one wheel or another and it happens at both sides. Spoke to Fox who said it could just be stiction on a close tolerance bush/seal in the shock. Have had this a few times on MTB forks so I’ll give it a bit of penetrating oil and run it for a couple hundred miles. I’m relatively confident all the other bushes are OK as there were no knocks before and I had them all checked out about a month prior at MOT time.

What, the fox’s? Given that my wife bought them for me; nitto!! If your buying them yourself, paddock have the best price at about £115 plus vat per corner.

I’ve still got a knock on rebound on the fox install at the rear. I think it is the top mounting hardware. i didn’t have the OEM washers etc so made a comical washer to sit against the mounting bracket, then mounted the shock, then a dome washer and then the nut. It feels like the nut is bottoming out before the bush is properly compressed. Can someone that has fitted these advise on how it goes together at the upper mount, or even better share a few pics??

Cheers
Col

Cheers Simon. It’s taken a bit of fettling. The Fox Lower bushes were so Stiff they were preventing proper articulation of the joint. I’ve replaced them with standard LR bushes and it has made a world of difference. There is a still a light clunk at extremes, so whichever bush that was being over-articulated before still needs sorting (once I find it!), but the difference in ride is remarkable.

One thing you will be pleased about is that Liam (LikeOMG on here) came round last night to pick up the old bilstiens and now having looked around his 90 it looks like I’ll be spending a few more quid on mine yet, possible starting with an alcantara head lining! There are now 2 of you to blame for my descending bank balance!

I put my new Eibach rear ARB on yesterday (it took less than 45 minutes to do) so I'll report back on how it feels when I'm back at work next week.

I just hope I don't then decide I need the Fox kit too....
