Rear Speaker Connector Type
Hi gang,

I'm about to finally install some speakers in to the rear of my 90 and would prefer to buy the right connector to fit the speaker wires to and click to the the existing (femail) one under the bonnet. The existence of the connector has been covered lots but I can't find the right type to purchase. I think they are TE Connectivity Econoseal ones but can I find one that looks like it would connect to the one in the photos and this one, unlike others, doesn't have any numbers on it to assist.

Its a 4 way connector, RS have them here -> https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/automotive-connectors/6806970/

If anyone has a better understanding or point me to the right product, I'd be so happy......

It is a sumitomo HW series connector, not very easy to obtain in the UK. Paul MC on here will be able to supply terminals and might be able to supply the connector housing.

If not you are best ordering from Japan from a company called Eastern Beaver. Be aware of their minimum order value though.

Cheers,

I've used Simtekukbefore with good results - should sort you out with the connector no problem. Thumbs Up Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️
