Roof Console + Sub + Rear Speakers - NEW PICS
Hi

Had a lot of stuff to fit on my DC since March, but as I had a bike accident could only do it these days ...

This is what I had, have ...

Now I have all the cables tied around the gearbox lever, waiting for some extra money to take it to an electrician to conect the subwoofer, CB and speakers ... The electric feed to the CB is hanging on my seat ... Razz ...also waiting...

The extra driving lights are waiting for an A-Bar ... Mr. Green But I allready have the wiring and the original LR switch to fit on the dash !

I'll post more pics when the Job is complete! Thumbs Up Regards
Joao

Not sure if I understand your question ... But it fits fine. Fitting it was easy. It brings a support to the back (although I drilled two holes on the wrong side because the instructions are not very clear ... but the console fits over those holes so you can't see them! Razz). In the front it uses the rear view mirror support (btw one of the nuts of the support that should be welded went inside the roof lining - don't have the patience to remove the entire roof to find the nut - don't know how I'll secure the missing screw!) The sun visors were cut by 10 cm and took them to an upholsterer. Regards

the CB ... For your knowledge the CB I bought (Midland 220) is too long ... the back touches the support brackets of the console, and the radio stands out a little ... Sad I have a friend that has a President (don't know the model) that fits perfectly

Then show us some pics, to see if it fits the same ... If you're going to fit a CB, measure the lenght inside before you buy it! Embarassed

BTW, dgardel or anyone else, when I was fitting the front bracket, one of the nuts belonging to the screws that secure the mirror bracket (wich is used to fix the one of the console bracket) went inside the roof lining, so now I only have 2 screws securing the front bracket. any idea on what can I use to replace the missing screw ? Tried some self tapping metal screws but the ones that fit are not large enough to be tighten ... I'm affraid that with only two screws, wont be enough to secure the console over time ... Regards

I lengthen the holes of the plate fixed on the base of the internal rear mirror to "move" the console upward.... Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
