Numberplate
Hope someone can help, I've just replaced all my little lights with rdx and they look amazing.

It's made my numberplates look a little scruffy so I've been looking round and love the design of the muddstuff plate they use on photos, anyone know where to get such a design made up?

All the ones I've seen online have a full height GB. I know I'm being a little anal but really think it looks great.

Thanks![/img]

Apparently the latest "must have" No plate is Gel numbers. I am sure if you describe what you want to the vendors on the bay of flea they will make you one up.

Is that marking not going to be redundant at some point in the near future? Darren

The oval GB sticker is valid now and always has been, alternatively the EU flag with GB on number plate is acceptable, what happens after Brexit to the validity of the EU flag version I just don’t know.

Incidentally ENG, SCO etc with English flag, welsh, Cornish or Scottish flag is not sufficient in other EU countries, with these you must have the old style GB oval. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

What are peoples suggestion for sticking a new number plate to a front bumper? I've got a new stainless steel one and don't really want to drill holes in it.

The example on the OP are not compliant due to missing BS number, Name a d Postcode of plate supplier.

Extract from: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/g...inf104.pdf

The British Standard sets out the characteristics of
the number plate. This includes visibility, strength and reflectivity. To meet the British Standard, each number plate must be permanently and legibly marked with the:
• British Standard number (currently BS AU 145d)
• name, trademark or other way of identifying the
manufacturer or supplier
• name and postcode of the supplying outlet 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

I bought some self adhesive magnet from eBay. Stick it to the back of the plate and you have a magnetic registration plate > 110 XS Double Cab

Maybe so, but possibly only in a less near future than some hope for. Whistle

The most recent developments in your country on this matter were just perfectly summarised by one of our German language Swiss newspapers. One word was enough.... ein Affentheater. Rolling with laughter

Good times may be coming for U.K. license plate producers, as if I were Brussels I would tell you when the day finally comes, those British license plates with the blue/white starred EU emblem are no more valid. Thumbs Up
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Fortunately they cannot retrospectively apply the law. If they could how long until we all don’t meet new emission standards
