Dual battery, fuse and terminals advice
About to tackle my first split charge install!

I have a Gwyn Lewis twin tray, a yellow top Optima and red top Optima plus a National Luna relay and controller.
Had an hour spare today and removed the existing battery, battery cover under the seat box and existing battery tray.
What I noticed was the existing positive terminal wont fit on the new battery, the existing Terminal is set at 90 degrees with an inline fuse and because the optima terminal is set further back it won’t fit plus the Negative terminal would be short.
How would be best to overcome this? Is there a terminal with built in fuse available? And best method to join the cables together to elongate?

How did you do yours? Thumbs Up 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Am I right in saying the existing size of positive and negative cable is 16mm? Extra flexible multi strand rated to 110amp? 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Hello Dave

Not sure I fully follow your questions but here's my install - still running faultlessly nearly 5 years later
