Unidentified unused connectors behind headlight?
Can anyone help me identify these connectors I found while replacing my headlight rings.

One of them is the same type of connector as the indicator and parking light so I'm hoping it's spotlight related as I'm hoping to fit a pair.

It's a 2005 TD5 single cab pickup, not sure what spec, nothing fancy on it.

Left to right, optional extra horn for alarm, battery backed-up alarm sounder and headlight levelling.

Great stuff Steve- you’ve solved a query I had- I have 2 of these floating around behind the headlight- couldn’t work out what they were for! How many defenders have levelling headlights!?

LR Workshop has a good electrics section, including a “connector by wire colour” which has helped me identify unused connectors no end of times

I believe that headlight levelling came standard on County Station Wagons after 1997?

Quite likely, although not fitted to County-spec variants of "commercial" models.such as the DC, which "benefitted" from the hopeless and stupid dim-dip system.

I had a 1999 CSW which did not have it.

I have had (different) cars with and without and can't see it's all that valuable. I think I had a D2 which had adjustable headlights AND rear air suspension, I mean, really....?

With modern lighting as it is, most people have accepted that occasionally you will be completely blinded by oncoming traffic.

Far worse and dangerous now that we seem to have entered the twilight zone in terms of modern vehicle lighting......
Why should it simply be accepted??
