Can I ask, which one do you have the causes interference? I have the same with my dual USB Bluesea one. With a USB lead plugged in and a phone at the other ends, wipes out FM. Unplug phone and all good. Tried various USB cables. 1999 Defender TD5 110

It might be worth trying a USB cable with a ferrite sleeve. If you haven’t got one you can get the sleeves on their own on Ebay 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I second the blue sea ones.
Had a cheapy from fleabay and it caused all sorts of FM interference Blue sea do a 4.8A fast charge one or a standard 2.1A one. https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/fast-usb-socket.html or the cheaper https://www.4x4overlander.com/product/blue-sea-dual-usb-socket-2/ Both work really well and have no interference for me. |
