TD5 - drivers electric window and door card - help needed
2005 Td5

Driver side electric window not working, fuse OK.
Removed door card this morning to find what appears to be plastic liner inside stuck on with mastic type adhesive. Is this usual?
Annoyingly broke the trim surround that holds the door lock latch - anyone know the part number for this and the little black firring that fixes door card to door?
In order to test to see if power is getting to the motor. It looks like will have to take the internal metal frame out?

Anyone got any help or experience of doing this.

Cheers

Will put money on it being broken wires in the rubber convoluted tube which runs from the a-pillar to the door.
The plastic sheeting (water shedder) is original.

Thanks for the help.

Quick power test and no reading.

Pulled the blue wire and hey presto!

Just a tip. As a precaution also change the other thick wire.

And do not Just connect the 2 pieces. Insertie a new piece of wire through the whole rubber tube. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover
