2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
OME Spring Choices
Hopefully someone can help me out here!

Im looking to change my current springs (TF Medium Load) for some OME springs - with the hope of having a slight softer improved ride.

Though im not sure on what springs to go for, they have a fair few that seem to differ very slightly.

The 110 is quite loaded

Full cage
D44 HD bumper + Abar and spots
Winch
Steering guard
HD Rock sliders
Steel tranny guard
NAS step

At least half the time it is loaded with tools and kit. I also want to retain the 50mm lift I currently have. I do a fair bit of road driving, roughly 300miles a week mixed mway, lanes and b roads. However I also do a fair bit of greenlaning, off roading trips to France, Spain, Wales etc...

Was thinking these for the fronts

Old Man Emu DA8910 OME2751 - but only 40mm? With the extra weight ove the front surely this will drop

Old Man Emu DA8922 OME2755 - These on the rear apparently 300kg load which should suit, at least I think

Any suggestions? Instagram @defender_ventures

Talk to gwyn lewis.

I dont think it is a good idea to have a loaded 110+2 inch lift+ soft suspension. Puma 110" SW

Cheers. Good info

I didnt say soft, just softer. The ride is rock hard persey but driving down bad roads you can feel the potholes and speedbumps, becomes quite tiring after a while.

Also considering fitting a rear ARB as i do more rosd driving now than off. Instagram @defender_ventures
