The first one was a pig and was sent back
The second was was easy peasy - nothing required other than bolting up ISTR - Unless the kit has changed, i had to reuse the bottom x-member end bolts and a spacer from the kit. Take it easy on the bolts and im sure you wont have the right size to do up the external black cross members bolts...well i didnt and no-one i knew did, but i do now! Mike |

The original outer bolts that you use to fit the nas step are torx, the inner one can't be got at once the NAS step is in place as it's behind the tube of the step remember to change them ones to Hex heads.

On the outer fixings left and right you could use the original torx bolts x 4 but you will find that two of them cannot be got at to tighten because the Torx heads are behind the tube, hence two standard or stainless bolts needed if they didn't come with the kit. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

When i fitted mine you only had to remove the one require for fitting (top) - so you can leave the bottom in place...thats what i did - this would only be a problem if you were going to remove the seat stuff which from memory those bolts hold to the x-member. There is a way to get at the lower torx bolt when fitted if required (never needed) get the small adaptor insert, locate it, clamp in place, and then undo the rear nut Mike |
