Cannon and Ball's comedy was of an age, but it was what I grew up with as a child. I think every kid at my school at some point or another muttered those words, 'Rock on Tommy' which is a sentiment to the popularity they had.

They were a main stay of the variety circuit and I had forgotten that Booby had an acting career as well.

Very sad.
