Also have Bilstein, and very pleased with them. Nice, supple ride.

Because Koni are adjustable and no long travel AFAIK Puma 110" SW

If you have long travel and drive offroad on anything causing big articulation you'll need dislocation cones. I have OME, can't fault them. The ride is fabulous and they cope beautifully with harsh conditions. |

No I had terra firma big bore which are good fir heavy weight hauling but not so good for day to day driving

They're more progressive, smoother but also quicker in terms of return. They handle weight better than oe (I have iron man springs, B which are medium weight and the combination is excellent. The ome's really force the wheel down offroad and help maintain traction and they don't get hot on corrugation like oe do.
The springs give 1.5 inches of lift on the rear and 1 inch on the front but there is no problem with binding or prop angles. I did put cranked trailing arms on as with oe there was a gap at the top of the trailing arm front bush when not carrying heavy load. I've tried several setups on my current 90 and in previous ones and this one is the best by far. Depends on what you're doing with it though, my setup may not be right for you. |
