TD5 Defender wiper motor return switch replacement on a defender with an aircon fitted, a little advice please.

2006 Defender 110 Td5 USW Zermatt Silver
Did mine years ago, and it was so easy I can’t remember much about it. Think I managed with just the padding removed from the dash top.

Agree with Andy, it's a very easy job. Did mine a few months ago, expecting it to be a pig. Simply removed the dash top and there was just enough room to get to the park switch.

Canada 2000 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Epsom Green
Just undo the four side screws on ether side of the dash and remove them, the ones holding the AC plenum. Remove the cetre screw or at least back it out almost to removed to take the weight of the plenum. Let it rest where it it. Gently pull the plenum down a bit, this will allow you access to the wiper dash cover screws. Remove them, change the switch. Now reverse the process.
