10AS pin 10 is fed from Fuse 8 on the dash fusebox.

With your meter try your voltage check on both sides of the top of Fuse 8 Smile  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Fixed!! Very Happy

Turns out fuse 8 was blown as well! I'm sure I had checked this at the beginning - the fuse actually looks ok visually, but when tested it was clearly gone. Lesson learned - be thorough when checking things Rolling Eyes

Many, many thanks for the help Martin and Dorset - would have been a nightmare without your guidance. A bit curious though how you could know that pin 10 is fed by fuse 8, etc...?! The wiring diagrams are diabolical, and hard to trace issues across functional circuits. Dorset - where is that connector wiring info from?

The benefit of this little exercise is that having seen the mess of wires behind the dashboard I've decided that at some point it will come off, in order to:
1. Tidy things up, label the main harnesses, and strip out any unused wires - such as the one below that is just hanging there... no idea what it does / did.
2. Relocate the 10AS. I'll speak to Paul at TechnoZen about the possibility of a harness extension, to move the unit somewhere more accessible.
3. Redo some spliced / taped connections with proper crimped connectors. Not sure if this is the work of LR, dealers, or previous owners... Example below, but there seem to be quite a few around fuse box and dashboard area.

Any idea what this is?

Dorset - thanks for that! Makes sense that its the tweeter wire - they were replaced, and have their own driver box. Would have thought they'd taken the old wiring out though Mad

Horn wiring - was questioning the splicing. Wonder why they did that, and if you have to cut and join a wire, at least use a crimped connector. Its an example of one of the many wiring issues I need to tidy up Rolling Eyes
