Yeh they both got used, I was on the other one. I was pleasantly surprised with how the TDCi performed. Regards

Looking forward to the pictures from this one Adam, Not another purist having their head turned by a puma.. Very Happy

Was it the six speed transmission, or like my other half, the rate at which the heaterbox warms the handbrake lever.

Haven't even managed to make a start on the editing yet.

Yes it was the 6 speed, but I didn't get out of 2nd gear low range on the course... was a blast.

I do love my TD5 and cannot see me changing to a TDCI, or coughing up for the road tax lol...
I will upload the video or a link when I get round to editing it together... Regards
Adam

So, I was at caffeine & machine last weekend, for a meet with Tents & Tread, had a right blast! Our pooch enjoyed all the fusses and treats also.
It does get busy, but it wasn't unbearable.. I recommend the UBU ale, very nice.
There were lots of different 4x4's and other fancy cars... We were there from about 11 - 4ish

Heres some pics..

Nothing like a good wash and T-Cut after all the salt on the roads. Even had a belly wash.
One happy looking Defender!

Thanks Clayton! It was about 3 hours work... But after seeing it yesterday in the sun, I could have done a better job lol - I was knackered though, so gave up haha. At least it had a belly rinse - which hopefully removed the salt....... Regards

Looks good in the pic's, but black is not an easy colour to get just right, i think you need a good day or a bit more Wink

Today I had to some maintenance on my trailer!
Boy it was a ball ache getting the nuts off, and working in a confined space isn't fun... πŸ˜”

But I fixed up the wobble on the rear near side wheel!

Only to find the front now needs doing πŸ˜” And I bet the other side is the same.

But first I need the proper tools for the job!
A breaker bar!
As my battery and air powered impact drivers will not shift the nuts on the front wheel! And while I'm at it, some more grease, copperease and end caps...

And then tackle this another day all fresh!

Adam when you fit a wheel clamp on a twin wheel trailer put it on the back wheel, because thieves could lift the trailer high enough that the front wheel comes off the floor and therefore the wheelclamp doesn’t stop the scumbags taking it Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

Heya, thanks for the tip.
I actually have a clamp both sides. The clamps were on alternate wheels, but now, to keep the new greese clean while I get some cap ends, I have placed the wheel clamp on the back wheel 😁

Hoping to get the bits today, or I'll stick an order on amazon and they'll be here in 3 days.. 😁 😎

I'm desperate to get some side steps for πŸ–€ The Duchess πŸ–€ so if anyone has a pair pm me 😁 Regards
Adam
