I would rather fit 235 tyres on 6.5j rims as it sits better on these.Wolf rims are not that pricey anyway. Puma 110 SW

Technically you can do it. If it is allowed in your area????
BUT: Do not mount tubeless tyres with tube! WANTED: SII or SIII in max 1.5k |

Ive got 235 85 r16 BF Goodrich Mud Terrains fitted to standard steel rims, which my local dealer fitted for me when I purchased my 90, and have had no problems with them at all.

I fitted 235-85-16 on my standard steel 5.5 rims 10k ago. No problems at all.I have seen plenty of these through our workshop,all fine. Its never over in my land rover.

do those wolf rims fit a normal 110? i remember reading that certain land rovers needed longer wheel studs before they could be used? cheers |

You can't quite get a full nut on the stud, if anyone is worried we fit dome'd nuts, but it's still the same but you can't see it, if you know what I mean.

Thanx for the info Andy, but please explain a bit the "tube type" thing... Is there a difference between tubed and tubeless rims? Can I fit tubeless tyres on the tubed rims? What type (tubeless or tubed) of tyre is better for 70% off-road and 30% hard off-road use in mud and snow. Sorry but I am new to these issues
