Britparts fuel filter. Stanadyne or pattern?
Out of interest, does anyone know if the Britparts fuel filter is made by Stanadyne or is it a pattern part?
The Mahle one has the Stanadyne "S" logo on the top casing.

I picked up a Mahle one off fleebay for a very good price a couple of weeks ago, but noticed that the Britparts equivalent filters were also available at a very low price.

Really worth the risk for a few quid?

Britpart's OEM offering will be fine but the standard pattern one will be cheap for a reason.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

On the Britpart's service Kit "OEM" ( DA6040P ) for Puma 2.4 , the fuel filter is made by Stanadyne :

Get a genuine one, I had an OEM clog up and caused misfiring etc, local garage replaced with genuine one, told me don’t risk it for a few quid.

The original Land Rover fuel filter IS Stanadyne (the company is owned by Donaldson) !!!!

The bayonet fixing system is registered by Stanadyne (whole system is called "Fuel Manager" (look at google) and it is probably the best filtering system on the market today.
